Well the topic of the thread is "Best suggestion ever" that's what I'm talking about because it isn't. It's a suggestion for sure, but, certainly not the BEST! My suggestions are the best by adding skills and more gameplay for challenge and new content to find and adventures to explore. That is the best suggestion continue to do that foremost and always.

Eh, I guess this just is not as big a deal to me as it is to others because I try to avoid people by going into international districts so I rarely use the emots. That is why I am happy with what we have, because I personaly can not even think of a situation where I would use some of the ones we already have.

well serious player will play the game and LOVE the new emotes..people who just go to roam around the game.. simpley LOVE emotes..and the lazy bums, ask a bum to join your party. and he might just /hug you

I want a /strip emote so i can actually make money of stripping my war.. not askign for much.. just a strip club... with poles.. and the ability of other players to throw money at me!

There was a huge discussion with Gaile Gray in LA a few months back about new emotes. Think she got hit with 50 - 60 suggestions. My bet is that you'll be seeing new ones with chapter 2.

For those of you who are complaining that the ANet developers are wasting time with this when they should be working on more content, where have you been? They gave us the Halloween special, the Sorrows Furnace update, Winterday, and the new Tombs area. They did all this while working on putting together Chapter 2

I'm not one to hang around towns just goofing off, but I do use emotes from time to time during lulls in activity (Waiting to get into a party, party member goes AFK - phone call, etc. - while out and about. My Lady Mesmer loves taunting Hydras!!!

I personally think there is no harm in new emotes. Just like I see no harm in the new armor, new classes, etc. If you don't like the emotes, there is a filter for them. Some people like the social things, some don't. Not saying either is wrong, just saying we shouldn't bash anyone because they want a few emotes to play around with. That would be like bashing those who got FoW or 15k armor for the looks. That doesn't improve gameplay either!

I agree with the person who said you can't please everyone. Some people are into the social aspect like emotes, dance parties, etc; some are not. That is never going to change; no matter how long we stand here and debate it. Personally, I do have to agree that more skills would be my top priority, but I also absolutely ADORE my 15k mesmer armor

As for the whole emote thing; why the heck not?! It doesn't hurt me,I can filter them off if it really bugs me THAT much and besides, dance parties can be quite fun

these r just ideas of emotes
if you like them say /signed (emotes you like)
add your own too

there should be
/hug
/kiss
/shrug
/jumping jacks
/cry
/kick
/slap
/bagpipes
/piano
/sing
/fart
/burp
/vomit (only if ur drunk)
/pee (jk, funny tho)
/scheme (rub hands togeter and look around suspiciously and mischeivously)
/sit ups
/sleep (also this could be /afk)
/lay on back
/lay on stomach
/push ups
/favor
/jog in place
/class signature (like some one said where say a fire ele blows a kiss of a fireball and a warrior spins his weapon around like a baton, etc. idk those r just examples the may not be those but their should be one for each proffession)
/worm (you do the worm on the ground)
/give flower (or any other item)
/magic trick (they could be any magic tricks and their could be like 5 and when you do the emote it would do a random one)
/pelvic thrust

i I dislike /give (trade menu duh xD)
and /hug and /kiss <--obvious reasons

I do like /cry, /sing, and /layonback though, They seem to be pretty viable emotes to add.
